The sun is supreme cosmic power. It powers and gives life to our world.
Do you ever get that feeling to touch it?
Well, you’re either an idiot, or you’re on cocaine. Either way, the feeling of touching the sun to me is like chasing your wildest dreams. It’s something full of confidence, naivety, and hope. This is the feeling I wanted to convey in this track.
I used a collection of string instruments to play an inspiring chord progression.
I felt the strings best represented the feeling of wanting to touch the sun.
To encapsulate the glory of the sun, I built a few more layers of acoustic instruments.
Horns, piano, cinematic drums, and my beautiful girlfriend's vocals.
All these layers combined into something inspiring that I thought was warranting of the title.
